Bottlegaurd(Lauki) Curry

1 small sized Bottlegaurd(chopped)
1 tesp Cumin seeds
a pinch of asafoetida
salt to taste
1/2 tesp redchilli pd(optional)
1/4 tesp Turmeric pd
1/2 tesp Coriander pd
2 tesp oil/ghee
1.Heat oil/ghee in a pan.Add cumin seeds and asafoetida.When it splutters add bottlegaurd.
2.Add all the spices and 1/4 cup of water.Cook it with covered lid.
3.Serve hot with chapati.
