Coconut Chutney


Ingredients:
1/4 cup grated coconut
1/2 cup roasted Split bengal gram(phutana dal)
2 green chillies
3 tesp Chopped coriander leaves
1 tesp fresh curd
Salt to Taste
For seasoning:
1/2 tsp oil
1/2 tsp Mustard seeds
1/4 tsp urad dal
3-4 curry leaves
2 small dry red chillies
a pinch of asafoetida
Method:
1. Mix all the ingredients except curd in a grinder and grind finely with water.
2. Add curd and mix it well.
For Seasoning:
1. Heat oil.
2. Add mustard seeds and dal.fry till it crackle.Add red chillies,curry leaves and asafoetida.
3. Pour it over chutney ans serve with idli,dosa or any south indian dishes.
